MATRYOSHKA DOLLS

Just a few days ago i was wondering what i should write a blog on, and while thinking about all the different home decor pieces i love MATRYOSHKA DOLLS popped into my mind.  I've always found these dolls really interesting, and i remember my mom had one in her old room in my grandmothers old house.  A matryoshka doll is a kind of Russian nesting doll, typically made out of wood which separates top to bottom, revealing a smaller sort of the same doll inside each doll.  I think these dolls are super unique and would look great as a decor piece in a more quiet looking room (a room with warm tones&shades).  I think they would also look great in a room full of little antique collectibles.  These dolls range in price of $10 to $100 depending on the detail and craftsmanship of the dolls.  You can purchase these at select stores and websites such as ruissangifthouse.com.  I love the look of these dolls and i think that they can add detail&character to any kind of room.

    Why can't I ever see your pictures Noelle? Come see me in class today and we'll take a look at what you're doing... You've got to save the pictures to your computer and upload them. You can't just copy and paste them from a website. I'm not sure if that's what you're trying to do though so let's sit down together and figure this out ;)
