INDIAN INSPIRED

Lately, i've been SUPER inspired by India.  Fashion.  Style.  Lifestyle.  I've even been thinking about getting a bindi (crazy? maybe just a little.).  I think that the Indian culture is beautiful.  Everything about it is detailed, and every little detail shows character.  And beyond all that, i think their interiors are just amazing.  I love the colors they use and how everything looks so alive and detailed.  I feel like an Indian inspired room definitely gives off a positive feel like no other.  All in all, i just love everything about it.

This room definitely revolves around light colors, with touches and sprouts of bright colors within.  The table is beautiful, and the engraving on the font has a personality of it's own.  I love the simplicity of this room, because it really shows that "Indian inspired" can but put together in all kinds of ways.

This room has to be one of my favorite Indian inspired rooms.  Though there are no bright colors in this rooms, the black and white works SO WELL.  The design on the wall in the background is brilliant, and the pillows add texture to the room.  I've also fallen in love with the dish tray&the fan.

This room brings a whole different feel than the last room.  Again, i love the bright pieces here&there, and the little details which totally add to the room.  The one thing that caught my eye in this room, is the magenta&gold blanket hanging over the side of the bed, it's Indian at it's finest.

This is a little bit of "kid" Indian.  This cat is TOTALLY Indian inspired and would look great in a kid's room.  The colors couldn't be more lovely and nor could the patterns.

This is a kind of Indian inspired i haven't come across yet.  I'd call it "darkened Indian".  Though the room is surrounded by dark walls, the throw&pillows, bring a whole different feel that surprising works with more dark vibe.  I love the Indian pictures on the wall, they're super vintage and add character to the room.

Though, this isn't quite an interior furniture piece, i HAD to add it.  It really is stunning.  From the design of the bench, to the stained glass within it, it is as unique as it gets.  The beads strings that it hangs off of add a whole nother element to the bench.  I LOVE this bench.  I think i might just have to marry it.
